TEAM LEADERS REPORTS:

Karla – reminded everybody about the forthcoming auction on the 20th October at El Cid and reiterated that clothing,  2nd hand electrical items and copy dvd´s cd´s and videos will not be accepted.  Viewing of the items will start at 1pm and the bidding will start at 2pm.

Sue Coley – Is the New Member Liaison Officer and will be signing up new members at the H&B show from the WIBC table.  Sue and Bobby Frost are organising the helpline and are looking for ways to obtain a 900 / 902 number.  This can prove to be very expensive so are actively looking for sponsorship.  They are also looking for somebody to donate two mobile telephones.  Volunteers are needed to answer the telephones but must have some experience in the field of counselling, although the volunteers would need to travel to Alicante for special training.  Europcar has intimated to Sue that they may be able to help in some way but, this is still just talk at the moment.

Mary Lucas – will be taking the money for the H&B and reminded everybody that cheques will not be accepted as payment for the  exhibition, cash only please.  Entry forms are ready to be downloaded on the website and of course, are only open to WIBC members. .  So far, the stands are 25 euros and advertising space in the Female Focus will be 10 euros.

Suzanna Mace – is having a meeting at the Pedramala on the 3rd October, to look at the rooms and set-up possibilities for the forthcoming event and will report back as soon as she has more information.  As usual, a gift certificate or prize is expected to be given by all exhibitors on the day as the draw raises a lot of money for our cause.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS:

Janet said she is willing to do a sponsored parachute jump but would need a lot of support to go through with it.  She will also need help to collect sponsorships.  Anyone willing to help with sponsorship forms, please let her know.  The sponsored jump will be in aid of two causes – ours and the Costa Blanca North Branch of the RAF.
