DENIAEXPO 2006
5 Days of Razzle Dazzle
April 14-18th

Thanks to the wheeling and dealing talents of WIBC member - Beatriz Tennet, the club was given a nice-sized booth at this years DENIAEXPO.

However, the booth was empty and it was Candy Wright who set us up with some second hand furniture. She was handy over in La Xara and luckily for use, operates a used furniture shop, plus she had access to a van. She was able to pull together the booth and make it look cute and inviting.

Thanks also to Sue Coley, who unfortunately was stuck alone in the booth on a busy Friday night. It was a bit crazy for her and no bathroom break. We must not let this happen to anyone again - if we get invited back next year.

Also - thanks to Liz Clayton, Tricia Arnold, Regina Veeger, Kim Braham and Tracy Bottomley, Mary Lucas, Roslyn McFadden, Millie Munro and Ann Martin - for taking shifts and staffing the table and selling WIBC pins.

The pin campaign brought in €96.00
The flyer campaign - we gave away 500 flyers - and we really needed more!!!!

What did we learn?

If we are invited back for next year - we must have more WIBC flyers, more staff for set up and tear down (Candy had to do this in the rain) , and more Spanish, German and French speaking members in the booth.
