WIBC CELEBRATES FIRST ANNIVERSARY 
... with Cava, Canapés and Art

In brief - The Parador was a magical setting for a night of Cava, Canapes and Art. The collection of members mingling with the mix of invited guests proved to be a wonderful night of networking. 

Special celebrity guest - Paul Melba - was a funny and caring human being. He really shared some light and insights with us and our guests. 

Of course, as usual, John Anthony on guitar and jazzing vocalist Johanna Spanjerberg - were absolutely fantastic. Their music really gave the event the perfect purrrr... shall we say!

The artists on representation were all amazing. It is good to see a community of artists reaching out to help the community they serve. I am not sure what they expected - but I hope they realize that you only get out of this universe - what you put into the universe. It was a joy to have them join our celebrations and to meet them all on a community level.

However, nothing beats stronger than the heart of a volunteer, and our WIBC volunteers must have the biggest hearts in all the world! They handled themselves with a generous degree of diplomacy and tack. It is not easy pulling together an event, hosting the event and smiling for hours on end. It takes great tenacity and courage. However, together, their efforts have raised the bar and added yet another checkmark to our ever growing list of achievement. 

In conclusion, a thrilling event that will go down in the history books. Big hugs and thank yous all around. You ladies know how to rock the world, with your love and smiles and support. The energy was electric!
