Chuck and Lisa Svoboda of the Costa Blanca Wine Club popped in on our January meeting at the Marriott to present our Treasurer - Mary Lucus with 50 Euros in support of the Javea Women's Shelter. The donation was the result of a Silent Auction held by the Costa Blanca Wine Club, on their Italian Wine Night. 

The original painting was created by WIBC Director, Karla Darocas, specifically for the night of Italian wine tasting.

The Silent Auction winner wanted to donate the painting back to the WIBC - to be auctioned off again at International Women's Day.

The WIBC will be hosting International Women's Day on March 8th in the Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel in Denia. It will be a mix of tradeshow, art exhibitions and a live stage full of celebrations. More details - or to book a table : 96 648-0248
