A bit of an cloudy December day, as we all crowded into the party location. Ladies were soon to mix and mingle as drinks were fetched from the bar.

Our forever favourite treasurer, Mary Lucus was on hand to collect the cash needed to pay our party tab. 

Plenty of savory snacks were served up and the majority of ladies grouped around the table for a nice holiday photograph. 

After our lunch, we broke and I gave a little heart-felt speech about the dream to host an International Women's Day and how that lead to establishing the WIBC and collaborating with the township of Javea to raise funds in support of their women's Shelter.

Then Lesley Ellis made a couple of announcements about the tables and layout of the International Women's Day event, now being held at the Marriott Hotel on March 8th. 2005. She was looking for volunteers to help with the organizing of the room and so forth.

Mary Lucas made a treasurer's report on our current financial status, and the positive numbers were met with a huge round of applause. 

The mixer continued into the night. It was a memorable party indeed!
