TAI
CHI FUNDRAISING

 On
Wednesday evening , as part of the Javea Port - Lady of Loreto Fiesta, Jean
Booth and around 12 fellow Taoist Tai chi club members treated Javea
residents and visitors to a wonderful demonstration of the art and practise
of Taoist Tai Chi, with a very helpful and informative narration in both
English and Spanish.
The
audience was mesmerised and watched with great interest as Jean led the
group with increasingly adept movements for about 20 minutes.
 At
the end of this Jean, on behalf of the Taoist Tai Chi Club of Javea,
presented Karla Darocas as President of W.I.B.C, with
two cheques - one for 100 Euros and one for 50 Euros for a total of 150
Euros.
This
will be used to support families in the local area Women’s Refuge; specifically,
those with young children at school, who need to buy school books, but are
ineligible to apply for the Government grant.
We
sincerely thank the Taoist Tai Chi Club on behalf of the families to be
helped by their fundraising, as the new school year starts very soon.
